TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.1. These terms and conditions contain important information about attending our events and the use of our website and other digital platforms. Please read them carefully before buying tickets to our events or joining our website.

 

1.2. MEGA Musical Bingo is a live-music entertainment experience. MEGA Musical Bingo is a trading name of APMB Consultancy Ltd, registered with Companies House under no. 08691885.

1.3. By purchasing tickets, this signifies that you agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms and conditions.

1.4. Although we will make a reasonable effort to notify you of any changes to our terms and conditions (by email or notice on the website/ social media platforms) it is your responsibility to check this document from time to time to ensure you are up to date.

1.5. By using or browsing our website, social media platforms or attending any of our events you agree to follow and adhere to the following terms and conditions.

2.1. By purchasing tickets you warrant that:

• You are entering a legally binding contract.

• You 18 years of age or older.

• You are not party to a current self-exclusion agreement with us.

2.2. It is your responsibility:
 

• To check all personal details are correct when purchasing your tickets.

• To check you are purchasing tickets for the correct event date and/ or venue. Tickets will not be refunded, compensated or transferred if this is incorrect.

• To arrive at the event on time as stated on the ticket. Although we will make efforts to accommodate latecomers, entry is not guaranteed and you will not be refunded.

• To comply with all venue regulations when attending the event.​

• To provide proof of your age and identity upon arrival at the event. You must be able to show either 1) a valid UK driving licence, 2) a valid passport, or 3) a valid proof of age card (such as the PASS card from the national Proof of Age Standards Scheme), if asked to do so. Failure to do so will result in you being refused entry and you will not be refunded.

2.3. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission or remove you from the premises if you:

• Compromise the safety or yourself or others.

• Are affecting the enjoyment of others.

• Are affecting the running of the event.

2.4. Whilst we have no specific dress code for our events, you may be refused access if you arrive wearing leisure wear; such as tracksuit bottoms and football tops.

 

Should any of the above occur, you will not be entitled to a refund or compensation.
 

2.5. Intellectual property: By attending our events you agree that you are doing so on a non-commercial basis and will not replicate or copy our formats, slogans or characters. You also agree not to use or copy any of our artwork, photos, graphics, videos, audio, text, designs, structures and all other intellectual property relating to our digital assets. Any photos or film footage taken is not to be used for commercial purposes.

3.1. Each MEGA Musical Bingo event ticket provides you with entry to the venue for entertainment and the opportunity to play bingo games.

3.2. There are 4 low stake prize bingo games played within the experience at any given event. 
You may choose to engage in the bingo games if you wish by purchasing a ticket to an event.
By engaging in the bingo, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions but they do not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

 

3.3. If you choose to play bingo without the added entertainment, you will need to contact MEGA Musical Bingo, prior to (up to 7 days advance of) the event commencing so that this can be arranged accordingly. MEGA Musical Bingo will have in place at each venue/event, a separate area available should you wish to engage only in the bingo activity and none of the live entertainment. The charge to play bingo only will be the cost of the stake only. You can contact MEGA Musical Bingo via the details on our website.
 

3.4. Ticket prices are displayed on our website.

3.5. In order to play bingo you must pay your ticket fee before playing. We are unable by law to offer any form of credit.

 

3.6. It costs £2 to play all 4 bingo games at any given midweek musical bingo event, and costs £6 to play all 4 bingo games at any given MEGA musical bingo event – this is your stake for playing the bingo. All stakes are paid out in prizes to winners the same night.

 

3.7. A ticket for entry to the venue entitles you to participate in all of the other entertainment and performances excluding bingo. We reserve the right to amend our entry charges from time to time, such as when special performances are planned or due to market fluctuations.

 

3.8. Tickets may include the cost of the bingo games on the ticket purchasing websites. We reserve the right to change the price of the tickets depending on fluctuating market value.

 

3.9 You can chose how you engage in the night in three ways:

1. Play bingo and engage in the entertainment;

2. Play bingo only for the cost of the stake;

3. Engage in the entertainment only and have your bingo stake refunded to you if already pre-purchased. 

 

3.10. If you do not wish to play the games of bingo but do wish to engage in the entertainment, you will need to contact MEGA Musical Bingo before or at the event so that a refund can be issued to you as appropriate for the cost of the bingo stake, as described in section 3.6. There will be a separate area of the venue available to you should you not want to play the bingo.

 

4.1. MEGA Musical Bingo will clearly communicate the prizes that you can win in each game. The prizes available may vary from those as advertised on any given event, depending on availability and amount of stakes purchased. 

4.2. We are not legally liable for prizes once they have exchanged hands from the event organisers to the customer.

4.3. You will not be awarded the monetary value of the prize under any circumstances.

4.4. We are not responsible for any issues that arise with third parties which supply prizes, which have been purchased or donated.

4.5. Do not dance on the tables and benches.

4.6. Please note our show might include references to sex throughout.

4.7. In the event that you are selected to take part in the onstage activity as part of a tie break (i.e. dance off, musical statues, buzzer quiz) or prize giving, this is done so at your own risk.

4.8. Epilepsy Warning

A very small percentage of people may experience a seizure when exposed to certain visual images, including flashing lights or patterns that may appear in our shows. Even people who have no history of seizures or epilepsy may have an undiagnosed condition that can cause these “photosensitive epileptic seizures” during the show due to our lighting and production.

These seizures may have a variety of symptoms, including lightheadedness, altered vision, eye or face twitching, jerking or shaking of arms or legs, disorientation, confusion, or momentary loss of awareness. Seizures may also cause loss of consciousness or convulsions that can lead to injury from falling or striking nearby objects.

Immediately stop playing and consult someone from our team if you experience any of these symptoms.

5.1. We endeavour to provide access to our website using our reasonable skill and care, however we cannot guarantee that this will be continuous and uninterrupted.

5.2. We are not responsible for you failing to secure tickets.

5.3. You warrant that the tickets are purchased for personal use only. You may not use your tickets for any commercial or business activity unless provided with written authorisation from the company. You may not resell your tickets at a premium in order to make personal profit. Any attempt to do so will result in these tickets being cancelled without refund or compensation.

5.4. We cannot guarantee that any of our additional services, such as reserving a table, will be available and we will not refund or compensate your tickets if this is the case.

5.5. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. We are only able to offer refunds in the case of a cancelled show.

5.5.1. Please note MEGA Musical Bingo cannot be held responsible for any transport issues, accommodation cancellations, weather problems, unexpected work commitments, childcare issues or sudden illness that means you are unable to attend the event.

5.6.1 ACTS OF GOD; For any postponed events booked via the MEGA Musical Bingo website or app, credit for the same value of your booking will appear on your MEGA Musical Bingo account within 30 days of the postponement. Affected ticket holders will be given advanced access to future events for any MEGA Musical Bingo at any UK location. Credit can be used to purchase tickets to any MEGA Musical Bingo show on a date of your choosing with 24 months of indoor shows restarting.

5.6.2 For any credit received in relation to a show that has not been affected by an ACT OF GOD, you will have 3 months from the date it has been issued to use this credit before it will automatically be removed from your account.

5.6.3 Credit is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or drinks vouchers at your chosen show.

5.7. By purchasing a ticket and/ or entering our events you agree to be recorded by us or agreed third parties to be used for our own promotional/ marketing materials or by approved third parties.

5.8. In some venues where CCTV is in operation, images are also used for the purposes of safety and security.

5.9. By purchasing tickets and entering our events you agree that you understand the cost breakdown of the ticket you are entering with.

5.9.1. Your gambling stake reflects the prizes we give in the venue (per event) and the capacity of the venue. This covers your book and pen, allowing you to play bingo. All gambling stakes will be pooled together and 100% will make up part of the event’s total prize fund.

5.9.2. The event ticket cost is for the entertainment and any performances that take place on the night.

5.9.3. If you choose to only play bingo (and therefore purchase a bingo stake for the event) without the live entertainment event element, this must be done up to 7 days prior to the event by contacting MEGA Musical Bingo via the details on our website. At the event you will be located in a separate area to engage only in the bingo activity.

5.9.4 If you choose to only participate in the live-entertainment element of the event, without the bingo element,  this must be done up to 7 days prior to the event by contacting MEGA Musical Bingo via the details on our website. 

5.10. You have the right only to a seat of a value corresponding to that stated on your ticket. We reserve the right to provide alternative seats to those originally allocated to you. You may not sit in a seat or section that has not been allocated to you by us.

 

6.1. By purchasing this ticket, you agree for your information to be stored in line with GDPR practices. If you wish to be removed from the GDPR database, please contact us immediately and we will remove your details accordingly.

Note:
All our venues operate a Challenge 25 policy during the operation of MEGA Musical Bingo events. All attendees are expected to have a valid photo ID on them.
